(Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018) – The annual East Avenue Grocery Run will take place this Saturday, Nov. 3, causing temporary street closings. The following streets will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 10 a.m. The run will begin at 8:15 a.m. at the corner of East Avenue and Meigs Street. To minimize inconvenience, these roads will reopen as the last participant passes. Affected streets include:


• East Avenue (from Alexander Street to S. Goodman Avenue)

• East Avenue westbound lane (from Prince Street to Culver Road)

• University Avenue (from Culver Road to Alexander Street)

• Goodman Street (from East Avenue to East Main Street)

• East Main Street south side curb lane (from Circle Street to Prince Street)

• Prince Street (from East Main Street to East Avenue)
