News Release
(Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019) – The David F. Gantt R-Center,
located at 700 North Street, will open as a warming center and temporary
warming shelter for those impacted by tomorrow’s forecasted wind storm in
partnership with the American Red Cross of Greater Rochester.
The center will open at 9 a.m., and remain open around
the clock for as long as it is needed.
Residents who lose power or heat are invited to come down
and warm up. Snacks and water will be provided.
