News Release - Food Truck Rodeo Series Continues at the Public Market on Wednesday, May 29

(Tuesday, May 28, 2019) – The second Food Truck Rodeo of the 2019 season will take place from 5 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 North Union Street. Local mobile food vendors and Market staples will offer a variety of creative cuisines and comfort foods, and live music will be provided by The Crooked North, an acoustic Americana stringband featuring some of the top bluegrass players in Western New York.

 

Attendees are encouraged to use the free Food Truck Rodeo Shuttle from the East End Parking Garage (East Main and Scio Street). The shuttle will run in 20-25 minute loops between the East End Garage stop near the corner of East Main and Scio and the Market, with the first shuttle leaving the Garage at 5 p.m., and the last leaving the Public Market stop at 9:15 p.m. Evening parking rates will apply in the East End Garage.

Attendees are also encouraged to carpool, bike, utilize public transit or walk to the event, as well as to bring folding chairs due to very limited available seating on Market grounds.

Food Truck Rodeos will take place at the Public Market from 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month through September.

June 26: Music by Earthtones
July 31: Music by Significant Other
Aug. 28: Music by The Ayers Brothers
Sept. 25: Music by Kids in the Basement

Food Truck Rodeos at the Market are co-sponsored by the City of Rochester, Rohrbach Brewing Company and the Market District Business Association.
