Motorist Advisory


(Thursday, May 30, 2019) – The Fast & The Furriest® event will take place this Saturday, June 1, causing temporary street closings. The races begin at 8 a.m. at 184 Verona St. near the shelter.

The following streets will close at 7:55 a.m. and will re-open as soon as possible after that time. They are expected to be closed for about two hours.
• Verona Street (Jay Street to Morrie Silver Way)
• Morrie Silver Way (Oak Street to Plymouth Avenue)
• Allen Street (Broad Street to Oak Street)
• Brown Street (Plymouth Avenue to Oak Street)
• Plymouth Avenue (Morrie Silver Way to Brown Street)
• Exchange Street (Ford Street to Violetta Street)
• Ford Street (Exchange Boulevard to N. Plymouth Avenue closed northbound, open southbound)
• Broad Street (Allen Street to Main Street)
• Ford Street (Main Street to Plymouth Avenue)
• Main Street open at Broad but restricted; possible delays

Note: Verona Street will be closed from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Jay Street to Brown Street) for races and the Pet Fest.
