City of Rochester News Release - Wegmans Concerts by the Shore Series Continues This Wednesday, July 3, with the Orient Express Band
(Monday, July 1, 2019) – The popular Concerts by the Shore series continues this Wed., July 3, with a performance by the Orient Express Band, a 7-piece ensemble that plays Top 40 music.
Presented by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee and Wegmans, with support from the City of Rochester and Monroe County, this series has been a summer favorite for over 30 years. Concert goers are urged to car pool, ride their bikes or take the bus to the park to help alleviate traffic congestion.
Concert attendees are also encouraged to arrive early and experience one of the many local restaurants in the Charlotte area, or enjoy the concessions provided by Wegmans on site.
The remaining Wednesday evening Concerts by the Shore lineup includes:
• July 10 – Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra
• July 17 – The Invictas
• July 24 – Branded
• July 31 – Sound Spectrum
• August 7 – Greece Jazz Band
• August 14 – Dady Brothers
• August 21 – Brass Taxi
• August 28 – Ruby Shooz
All concerts begin at 7 p.m., with the exception of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra performance on July 10, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
