Middays at Midtown Cancelled Today Due to Weather

(Wednesday, July 17, 2019) – Middays at Midtown, the City’s summertime workday concert series at Midtown Commons, is cancelled today due to the forecast of inclement weather. The series will resume next Wednesday, July 24 from noon to 2 p.m. and continue each Wednesday in July and August.

“Our free lunchtime concerts are fun experiences for Downtown residents, workers and visitors,” said Mayor Warren. “I encourage Downtown workers and residents to attend and bring their lunch or visit the food trucks on Elm Street or a nearby restaurant. This free musical break during the day adds vitality to Downtown and bolsters our efforts to create jobs, safer and more vibrant neighborhoods which will lead to better educational opportunities throughout our city.”

The concerts are produced by the City of Rochester and will be held on Wednesdays through August 28. They include:

• July 24: Jackson Cavalier (Americana)
• July 31: Band-n-Public (Funk)
• August 7: Jack West (Rock)
• August 14: The Latin Jazz Experience (Latin/Jazz)
• August 21: The Tragedy Brothers (Americana)
• August 28: Abby Celso and Mark Bader of The Swooners (Pop)
