Motorist Advisory
(Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019) – Portions of St. Paul Street,
from Lowell Street to the Genesee Brew House, will be paved tomorrow, Wednesday
Sept. 4, through Friday, Sept. 6., between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Motorists can expect delays, and should plan their commutes accordingly.
In addition, Elmwood Avenue, between East Drive and
Wilson Boulevard, will be milled and paved later this month. Milling will take
approximately two days and begin the week of Sept. 9. Paving will also take
about two days and begin the week of Sept. 15. Exact dates will depend on
weather conditions. These operations will involve the closure of one lane in
each direction while the work is taking place. At the completion of each
workday, both lanes in each direction will be reopened.
Electronic message boards will be placed notifying
motorists of the upcoming construction.
