City Offices to Close Wednesday in Observance of New Year’s
Day
(Friday, Dec. 27, 2019) – City Hall, Neighborhood Service
Centers, City Branch Libraries, Animal Services, 311 Call Center, R-Centers and
other City administrative offices will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 1 in
observance of the New Year’s Day holiday.
Normal refuse and recycling collection will take place on
Monday and Tuesday. There will be no refuse and recycling collection on
Wednesday, Jan. 1, and collection will be delayed one day for the remainder of
the week.
Genesee Valley Park Ice Rink and Martin Luther King Jr. Park
Ice Rink will be closed on Jan. 1, but regular skate sessions will take place
on Monday, Dec. 31. In addition, Martin Luther King Jr. Park Ice Rink will
feature an extra holiday open skate from noon – 10:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. For
