City Youth Will Create Small Masterpieces Tomorrow as Part of 6 x 6 Make Art Day Activities

(Thursday, March 5, 2020) – Youth at four City R-Centers will create their own individual masterpieces as part of their participation with Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s (RoCo’s) 6 x 6 Make Art Day.

6 x 6 Make Art Day, which takes place on Friday, March 6, encourages Rochesterians of all ages and backgrounds to make works of art on the same day.  People from across the globe and throughout Rochester will gather with family, friends and coworkers to create small artwork in a 6” x 6” format.  A number of businesses, organizations, schools and other sites in our community have agreed to host 6 x 6 Make Art Day activities tomorrow.  All of the artwork that is created will be exhibited together at the RoCo Gallery in June.

Activities for 6 x 6 Art Day will take place at the following City R-Centers:

 Adams Street R-Center, 85 Adams St.:  3 – 4 p.m.

 Edgerton R-Center, 41 Backus St.:  2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

 Flint Street R-Center, 271 Flint St.:  3 – 4 p.m.
