News Release - Mayor’s “Open Door” Office Hours to Take Place March 12

(Friday, March 6, 2020) — Mayor Lovely Warren today announced that she will conduct evening public office hours to give constituents the opportunity to access government outside of normal business hours.

The first “Mayor’s Open Door” office hours will take place from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 12 in the atrium of City Hall, 30 Church St. and then take place every other month, alternating months with her Coffee with the Mayor program. 

“It’s important to have input from all of those who have a stake in this city,” said Mayor Warren. “Issues that are important to them are important to me and that’s why we conduct our annual budget citizen input sessions, our Coffee with the Mayor program as well as our many other public input opportunities.”

Accompanying the Mayor will be members of her senior management team, who will be available to assist visitors with matters specific to their various City departments.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. Interested participants can call the City Communications Bureau at 428-7135 or send an email to opendoor@cityofrochester.gov to register

Light refreshments will be served.
