Police Accountability Board Begins Search for Executive Director

 

The Police Accountability Board (PAB) is actively seeking candidates for its Executive Director Position. This is a highly visible, executive-level position responsible for the management and oversight of the Police Accountability Board activities. The PAB is an official City body that is responsible for reviewing allegations of misconduct by uniformed members of the Rochester Police Department. 

 

“The nine member Police Accountability Board will be responsible for reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and selecting our Executive Director,” said Board Chair Shani Wilson, “we are excited to have arrived at this step, and we are eager to begin our work.  I am confident that we will find a number of qualified candidates that will be able to serve this Board and our community.”

 

This position requires the Rochester City Council to hold a Confirmation Hearing to approve the candidate selected by the PAB. Inquiries regarding this position should go to the City of Rochester Department of Human Resource Management.
