News Release -- School No. 7 Added to List of Meal Distribution Sites for School-Aged Youth

City of Rochester

News Release

(Monday, March 30, 2020) –
The Rochester City School District has added Virgil I Grissom School No. 7, located at 31 Bryan St., to its list of meal distribution sites. Beginning Tuesday, March 31, grab-and-go meals for school-aged youth will be available at School No. 7 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday.

School No. 7 joins a group of nine City R-Centers and seven other RCSD locations that have been providing grab-and-go breakfast, lunch and dinner meals to students since schools closed in mid-March as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meal distribution sites help to ensure that youth continue to receive the same nourishment as they would have during the course of their academic day, and that no children go hungry while school is not in session.
