News Release -- Rochester Public Market Vendors Offer Curbside Pickup and Delivery Options in Response to Coronavirus Pandemic

(Thursday, April 9, 2020) – In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, select vendors at the City of Rochester Public Market are now offering delivery and curbside pickup for the safety and convenience of customers.

As part of ongoing efforts to follow social distancing recommendations, a variety of Market vendors who sell fresh produce, meat, seafood, cheese, bakery items and many other foods have implemented new ways to serve patrons that either minimize or eliminate the need for close contact.

Interested shoppers should contact vendors directly for additional information regarding delivery and pickup options, as well as the specific products available. A list of participating Market vendors can be found at the following link: www.cityofrochester.gov/article.aspx?id=21474843999.

Farmers Markets are categorized as essential retailers by New York State and remain open for the benefit of residents. The Rochester Public Market will continue its normal hours of operation, which are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m. – 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 5 a.m. – 3 p.m. A full list of new rules, regulations and precautions that have been implemented at the Market in response to the Coronavirus can be found at www.cityofrochester.gov/publicmarket/.
