City Council to
Hold Special Meeting Today to Vote on Replacement for Vacant Councilmember at
Large
The City Council will hold a Special Meeting today,
Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 4:00pm to formally vote on legislation naming
Miguel A. Meléndez, Jr. as the next Councilmember at Large. Mr. Meléndez will
be sworn into office immediately after the vote. The meeting will take place on
Zoom and will be streamed live on the Council’s YouTube Channel and shared on
the Council’s Facebook Page.
Mr.
Meléndez will serve out the current term of the office which expires on
December 31, 2021.
