  • Edgerton, 41 Backus St.
  • Frederick Douglass, 999 South Ave.
  • David Gantt, 700 North St.
  • Trenton & Pamela Jackson, 485 N. Clinton Ave.
  • Thomas Ryan, 530 Webster Ave. 

The Rochester City School District
is operating an additional
15 meal distribution sites.

In response to coronavirus pandemic, nine City R-Centers serve as Learning Labs to help students adjust to a remote learning environment and ensure they have access to nutritious meals when school facilities are closed.

The centers also serve as Grab and Go meal distribution sites for all children and their families, regardless of whether they are in the Learning Labs

Learning Labs are open from 8 a.m. to noon. Monday through Friday, when RCSD staff are on site to help children with homework and other learning needs.

The meal distribution operation is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner and are multiple meals are available for single trips. These meals are funded by U.S. Department of Agriculture and provided by the Food Collaborative (City of Rochester, RCSD, Foodlink and Common Ground Health).

Open recreation in the centers is no longer available due to the NYS Orange Zone regulations. In-person programs suspended in all City R-Centers, including; Fitness Centers; Pools; Sports/Rinks; and youth programming.
