Startup Assistance Available

(Friday, Feb. 19, 2021)— The City of Rochester and Ibero-American Action League, Inc. are seeking vendors to operate this year at the International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave.

“The Rochester community has a new, multi-cultural marketplace where they can gather and celebrate through shopping, food, music, dance and more,” said Mayor Lovely A. Warren. “This new Plaza presents a wonderful opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs and startup businesses to market their wares, so now is the perfect time to make your dream a reality. A vibrant and thriving International Plaza creates a Rochester with more jobs, safer streets and better educational opportunities.”

There are several opportunities for interested vendors to obtain more information and register, including:

• An informational meeting and presentation, 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24 on Facebook live at: facebook.com/iberoroc.

• Two Zoom meetings at 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 3 and Thursday, March 25, designed to address specific vendor questions. Register by sending an email to: jdelvalle@iberodevelopment.org/. 

• In-person registration is available, 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 1 at the International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave.

Vendor applications are due Friday, April 2. Assistance is also available to help vendors to establish and grow their businesses.
The International Plaza is a new ethnic-themed marketplace and entertainment venue with a Latin flavor. The 2021 season kicks off April 15 and will operate on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons through November.
