Mayor Warren Honors County, Faith and Community Partners for Pandemic Recovery Efforts

(Thursday, May 13, 2021) — Mayor Lovely Warren, today honored Monroe County, Faith and Community Based Organizations, and City R-Centers and Library Branches for their pandemic recovery efforts.

“Rochester is emerging and recovering stronger and more equitable from this pandemic than ever before,” said Mayor Lovely Warren. “I am so appreciative of our faith leaders and community partners for their dedication to our citizens during this pandemic. The unyielding sacrifices of our healthcare workers, essential workers, first responders and community organizations are the reason why our city is on a fast track to recovery.”

The honored faith and community organizations included Rochester City School District, Urban League of Rochester, Ibero-American Action League, United Way of Rochester, RTS, Common Ground Health, Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Legal Aid, Refugees Helping Refugees, Greater Harvest Church, Aenon Baptist Church, Memorial AME Zion Church, Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, House of Prayer and Restoration and the Church of Love Faith Center.
