(Tuesday, June 15, 2021)—The 35th season of the popular summer concert series, Concerts by the Shore, will kick off at Ontario Beach Park, 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 16, featuring Lyin’ Eyes, Rochester’s own Eagles tribute band. The performances will continue 7–8:30 p.m. every Wednesday through September 1 with rhythm and blues favorite, Therese Lott, a funky, soul powerhouse on June 23 and Rochester’s favorite party band, the Skycoasters on June 30.
Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early and experience one of the many local restaurants in the Charlotte area, or enjoy the concessions provided on site. Parking is available in the beach parking lots and the park is on the RTS bus route (22 Lake).
Wegmans has been the presenting sponsor for these family-friendly performances at Ontario Beach Park since they began. The series is presented by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from the City of Rochester and Monroe County.
To comply with current COVID-19 protocols provided by New York State and the Monroe County Health Department, unvaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask. In addition, residents should stay home if they do not feel well or have any COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing and comply with any signage or directions from staff on-site.
