(Tuesday, June 22, 2021)—The 35th season of the popular summer concert series, Concerts by the Shore, continues at Ontario Beach Park tomorrow, June 23, at 7 p.m.
This week’s performance features the soulful Therese Lott and a group of select musicians. Therese has entertained large crowds for almost 25 years and has opened for performers including LL Cool J and Mary J. Blige.
The performance scheduled for June 30 will feature Rochester’s favorite party band, the SkyCoasters, followed by the Rochester Philharmonic at the Beach on July 7. The performances will continue every Wednesday through September 1.
Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early and experience one of the many local restaurants in the Charlotte area, or enjoy the concessions provided on site. Parking is available in the beach parking lots and the park is on the RTS bus route (22 Lake).
Wegmans has been the presenting sponsor for these family-friendly performances at Ontario Beach Park since they began. The series is presented by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from the City of Rochester and Monroe County.
To comply with current COVID-19 protocols provided by New York State and the Monroe County Health Department, unvaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask. In addition, residents should stay home if they do not feel well or have any COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing and comply with any signage or directions from staff on-site.
