(Tuesday, June 29, 2021) - The 35th season of the popular summer concert series Concerts by the Shore continues 7 p.m., tomorrow, June 30 at Ontario Beach Park with Rochester’s favorite party band, the SkyCoasters. The high energy, 9-piece band has been entertaining audiences around the country for more than two decades.
The performance scheduled for July 7 will feature the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra at the Beach, followed by Rock-n-Roll band The Invictas on July 14. Concerts by the Shore performances will take place every Wednesday through September 1.
Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early and experience one of the many local restaurants in the Charlotte area, or enjoy the concessions provided on site. Parking is available in the beach parking lots and the park is on the RTS bus route (22 Lake).
Wegmans has been the presenting sponsor for these family-friendly performances at Ontario Beach Park since they began. The series is presented by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from the City of Rochester and Monroe County.
To comply with current COVID-19 protocols provided by New York State and the Monroe County Health Department, unvaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask. In addition, residents should stay home if they do not feel well or have any COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing and comply with any signage or directions from staff on-site.
