News Release - Concerts by the Shore Concert Series Continues with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra

(Tuesday, July 6, 2021)—The 35th season of the popular summer concert series Concerts by the Shore continues 7:30 p.m., tomorrow, July 7 at Ontario Beach Park with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra performing classical and pop favorites.

Concerts by the Shore performances will take place every Wednesday through September 1. The remaining concerts are as follows:

  • July 14, The Invictas (original Rock and Roll)
  • July 21, Banda Light (Latin)
  • July 28, Ignite (Reggae)
  • August 4, Brass Taxi (High energy Top 40 Rock)
  • August 11, Nik and the Nick Guys (Nik Show band)
  • August 18, Coupe DeVilles (Party band)
  • August 25, 8 Days a Week Band (Beatles tribute band)
  • Sept. 1, Ruby Shooz (50s and 60s Rock and Roll)

Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early and experience one of the many local restaurants in the Charlotte area or enjoy the concessions provided on site. The park is located at 50 Beach Ave. and parking is available in the beach parking lots (public transport is available via RTS bus route 22 Lake).

Wegmans is the presenting sponsor of these family-friendly performances. The series is presented by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee with support from the City of Rochester and Monroe County.

To comply with current COVID-19 protocols provided by New York State and the Monroe County Health Department, unvaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask. In addition, residents should stay home if they do not feel well or have any COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing and comply with any signage or directions from staff on-site.
