(Friday, August 20, 2021) — Market Days at the International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave., will continue this Sunday, August 22 with a Back-to-School Bash Mascots Day—hosted by Fidelis Care (www.fideliscare.org), the International Plaza and El Camino Parks (http://myelcamino.org/)—an interactive performance by Heather Stevenson and Teaching Artists ROC; raffles and giveaways for school supplies, bicycles and more; and musical entertainment provided by Poder 97.1 FM.
On Thursday, August 26, a commemorative wall featuring a unique piece of metal art and over 300 engraved commemorative bricks will be unveiled. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Ray Mayoliz, DJ Chris Starks, DJ LouRock and DJ True Soul.
The ROC International Car Show, originally scheduled for August 1 and postponed by rain, has been rescheduled for Sunday, August 29. The first-of-its-kind car show will include a competition in twelve categories scored by three secret guest judges and will be hosted by Imani Sanders. The ROC International Car Show lineup includes over sixty cars, trucks, Jeeps and motorcycle entries. Also featured will be live entertainment by La Nueva Secuencia and Womba African Drumming.
In other exciting news, The International Plaza has been included as a Fringe Festival venue. Events will be announced as part of the 2021 Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration in September. Sponsorship, vending and volunteer opportunities are available. For more information, contact (585) 451-5676.

Market Days at the International Plaza are open 5 to 8 p.m. on most Thursdays and 1 to 5 p.m., Sundays through November. Entertainment programming is scheduled in partnership with Ibero American Development Corporation.
