(Friday, August 20, 2021) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren today announced that adoption fees will be waived for all available dogs and cats at the Rochester Animal Services shelter from August 23 through Sept. 22.
Adoptions will be conducted by appointment only. To view adoptable pets and start the adoption process, visit the Rochester Animal Services web pages at www.cityofrochester.gov/AdoptADog and www.cityofrochester.gov/AdoptACat. Send an email to AnimalServices@cityofrochester.gov to schedule a meet and greet at the shelter, located at 184 Verona St.
The free adoptions are made possible with support from Petco Love and the Verona Street Animal Society.
