News Release - City Offices to Close Monday, Sept. 6 in Observance of Labor Day

(Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021) - Rochester City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, Rochester Public Library and other administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 6 in observance of Labor Day.

R-Centers are currently closed for a staff training week and will reopen on Wednesday, Sept. 8 with the operational hours of 2 p.m. – 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. Grab-n-go meal services will also resume on Sept. 8.

The 311 Call Center will be open on Monday, Sept. 6 from 7 a.m.– 9 p.m. Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day.

Rochester Animal Services will be open on Mon., Sept. 6 by appointment only for adoption and lost pet recovery from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Call 428-7274 to schedule an appointment.

There will be no COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Monday, Sept. 6. Vaccine clinics will resume operations on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Lightfoot R – Center from 2-6 p.m. To make an appointment, visit https://www.monroecounty.gov/health-covid19-vaccine
