(Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021) —The Friends of the Rochester Public Market announced the 17th Annual Artist Row will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19 at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St. Artist Row is a celebration of art and community featuring over 150 local artists and artisans, live entertainment, food vendors, family activities and food trucks. Admission and parking are free.

“Artist Row is evolving this year,” said board member Samantha Oster. “We will feature a stronger focus on diversity and showcase a variety of mediums.” Leslie Knox, President of the Friends of the Market added, “We’re particularly proud of this year’s evolution. 2020 was difficult for many. As a result we are reimagining our positive community impact. Artist Row is an extension of that and I invite interested members of the Rochester community to be involved with the Friends committees as we reimagine a path forward.”

New this year, a family-friendly space with interactive activities for children, such as a one-of-a-kind puppet couture, fashion shows, performances and more, hosted by the Rochester Public Market’s Youth Entrepreneurs Program, WellVentions, Caring and Sharing Day Care Center and Rochester Makerspace.

Artist Row is sponsored by the Friends of the Rochester Public Market, Platinum sponsor Flour City Bread Company, Gold sponsor Canandaigua National Bank and Silver sponsor Rohrbach Brewing Company with support from the City of Rochester.

Artist Row was founded in 2005, by the Friends of the Public Market, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, that supports the Public Market. All proceeds support programs that are run by the Friends of the Market, such as the market’s EBT Token Center, Veggie Valet, Market Trolley, tours, and much more.
