(Friday, Sept. 10, 2021) – The City of Rochester is inviting city residents to provide input on the programs and projects funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) provides an assessment of expenditures and accomplishments achieved through federal grant funds received from the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) during the period of July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. It measures the City’s progress in carrying out its Consolidated Plan 2020-24 and its one-year 2020-21 Annual Action Plan.

The public review and comment period for the 2020-21 CAPER will be from Sept. 10 through Sept. 25, 2021. The CAPER will be submitted to HUD by Sept. 28, 2021.

Written comments about the draft CAPER must be received at City Hall by 5 p.m. Sept. 25, 2021. They should be directed to Amy Ventura via email at HUDFunding@cityofrochester.gov or via mail to: City of Rochester, 30 Church St., Room 224B, Attn. Attn: Amy Ventura, CDBG Coordinator, Rochester, NY 14614.

In order for a comment to be received and included in the 2020-21 CAPER document, it must be prefaced by the name and address of the commenting individual or organization. Each email comment shall also be prefaced with the topic “2020-21 CAPER” in the subject line.
