News Release - City Offices to Close Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in Observance of Thanksgiving Day

(Monday, Nov. 22, 2021) -
Rochester City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers and other administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day.

All Rochester Public Library branches will be closed on Thursday. Some branches will reopen on Friday. For a full list of branch hours, please visit https://libraryweb.org/hours/locations-hours/.
R-Centers will be closed Thursday and Friday. Two special ThankSwimming events will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 27 at the Trenton and Pamela Jackson and Adams Street R-Centers.

The 311 Call Center will be closed on Thursday and will reopen on Friday, Nov. 26 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Rochester Animal Services will be closed Thursday. Operations will resume Friday, Nov. 26 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment only, for adoption services and lost pet recovery. Call 428-7274 to schedule an appointment.

COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 through Saturday, Nov. 27. Vaccine clinics will resume operations Sunday, Nov. 28 at the Edgerton R-Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for ages 5 to 11; and 1 to 4 p.m. for ages 12 and older. All vaccines and booster shots are available.
