News Release -- RCSD Calendar Competition Winners on Exhibit at Newly Established RCSD X Link Gallery at City Hall

(Friday, Aug. 5, 2022) – Mayor Malik D. Evans and Dr. Kathleen Black, Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning at the Rochester City School District (RCSD), will recognize 13 student artists during a reception at City Hall, 5 p.m. today.
 
The students will receive certificates of Special Mayoral Recognition for having their work be displayed in the inaugural exhibit of the RCSD X Link Gallery. The City of Rochester is partnering with the City School District to house a year-round, permanent exhibit space for student artwork on the ground floor of City Hall.

The artwork on display in the new RCSD X Link Gallery at City Hall are the winners of the district’s annual calendar competition and will be published in the district’s upcoming school calendar. The art will be on display through August 30. Student information and links to their artwork are below:
