Refuse and Recycling Remains on Schedule

City Ice Rinks, City Branch Libraries, Rochester Animal Service Stay Open

 

(Thursday, Feb. 9, 2023) – Rochester City Hall, Neighborhood Service Centers, R-Centers, and the Department of Recreation and Human Services administration office at 57 St. Paul St. will be closed on Monday, Feb. 13 in observance of Lincoln’s birthday.

Refuse and recycling will remain on schedule.

Rochester Public Library branches will remain open for normal hours. For a full list of branch hours, please visit https://libraryweb.org/hours/locations-hours/

Rochester Animal Services will be open during normal hours from 10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. for pet adoptions and pre-adoption meet-and-greet visitations, available by appointment; and, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for walk-up services for lost pet recovery and intake of lost and injured pets. Rochester Animal Services will also host a free pet adoption event, at the City’s animal shelter at 184 Verona St., from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., this Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023. For more information, visit www.cityofrochester.gov/petadoption/.

The 311 Call Center will remain open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. during normal hours.
