Applications are now open for the Mayors for Peace Art Competition!
Mayor Malik Evans invites children in the City of Rochester to submit an artwork on the theme "What Peace Means to Me."
The top 40 entries will be displayed in the Link Gallery at City Hall and ten entries (five for each semifinalist category; ages 6-10, and ages 11-15) will be selected to go to Hiroshima Japan for the international Mayors for Peace competition!
Participants can apply by visiting this link. Just click on the "Register and Apply" square button near the top middle of the page and fill in all the required information.

The application form will close on October 1st, 2023. Then, from October 2nd to October 7th, a chosen committee (made up of both youth and adults) will select their top 40 art pieces. Those 40 art pieces will be displayed in the Link Gallery at City Hall, and the public can vote for their favorite art pieces from October 10th to October 20th.
