Eastman Theatre

Named for Kodak founder and philanthropist George Eastman, this 3,094-seat theater is the cornerstone of Rochester's cultural arts. The Eastman Theatre is, among many other things, the home of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra; the primary concert hall of the Eastman School of Music; and the flagship venue of Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival. It has hosted some of the world's finest performers, musicians and conductors, including Igor Stravinsky, Leonard Slatkin and Wynton Marsalis.

The Eastman is in the midst of an extensive renovation project that will preserve its architectural significance while enhancing its value for modern audiences.
