- Literary criticism - Over 6,000 titles
- Literary reference, including various online databases: Contemporary Literary Criticism, Dictionary of Literary Biography, etc., available 24/7 on our website, and many other resources
- Materials for writers - Books on how to write and how to get published
- Oxford English Dictionary (OED), unabridged, in print
- Quotations - Books to search for quotations by topic or by author
- Philosophy texts and reference sources such as the Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy
- Religion includes resources on all major world religions as well as many other religions
- Teen fiction
Our Media Collection has moved across the street to the Reynolds Media Center, located on the first floor of Central's Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building.
