Rochester City Council Webcast

Coronavirus update: In response to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202, and guidance from the Monroe County Department of Health, all meetings of the Rochester City Council will be closed for public attendance until further notice.

The March 17 City Council meeting  will now be streamed through audio call. In accordance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202, this audio and its subsequent transcript will be made available to the public. In addition, the March 17 “Speak to Council” session originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m., has been moved to the beginning of the Council Meeting at 7:30 p.m.


The Rochester City Council invites Internet users to watch its monthly Committee meetings and Regular Council Meetings live. The webcast is only available when Council is in session. Council meetings generally begin at 7:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month  (Meeting Schedule).  Council Committee meetings generally start at 4 p.m. five days prior to the full Council Meeting.
