
Celebrate the Winter at the 37th annual Lakeside Winter Celebration at Ontario Beach Park, Saturday Feb. 4 & Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023
This year, the celebration will feature a wide array of activities including the 13th Annual Lake Ontario Wine and Craft Beer Festival on Saturday and then continue on Sunday with the “Polar Plunge” at 12 p.m. Additionally, Charlotte area merchants will be offering specials and discounts all weekend. All events will be held in and adjacent to the Roger Robach Community Center and Ontario Beach Park.
This event is organized by the all-volunteer Ontario Beach Park Program Committee and sponsored by the City of Rochester, Monroe County, Charlotte Community Association and Wegmans.

Sunday, Feb. 5, Noon
The fun continues with the annual Polar Plunge at noon. More than 1,000 winter enthusiasts are expected to dive into the icy waters of Lake Ontario to benefit the Special Olympics. Free off-site parking and shuttle service is available for all plungers and spectators. Shuttles from the Greece Arcadia High School parking lot, 120 Island Cottage Rd. to the Polar Plunge will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Participants and spectators are strongly urged to take advantage of this transportation option as parking at the Port is limited.
