Lakeside Winter Festival: each February this event embraces winter at the lakefront! Features food vendors, Chilly Chili Contest, arts, exhibits, Recreation on the Move, ice sculptures, and winter wackiness like the Polar Plunge!

Maplewood Rose Celebration: Each June, this festival celebrates magnificent Maplewood Rose Garden and the adjacent Genesee River Gorge. Food, exhibitors, guided hikes, arts, rose tours and for the entire family.

Kite Flight: On the first Sunday of May each year, kite enthusiasts congregate on the shores of Lake Ontario to celebrate spring and take advantage of the persistent breezes off the lake.
