City Officials Cut Ribbon for Unlimited Seafood
New Seafood Restaurant Joins Growing List of Businesses on Dewey Avenue
(Wednesday, June 1, 2011) — City Neighborhood and Business Development Commissioner R. Carlos Carballada joined Jacqueline Rae Hayton today to celebrate the addition of Unlimited Seafood, a new restaurant in the city’s northwest neighborhood at 1462 Dewey Ave.
“I look forward to seeing this restaurant achieve its goal of providing its customers with the best quality seafood possible,” Commissioner Carballada said. “An important key to the success of our city is the perseverance and entrepreneurial vision of our business owners.”
Ms. Hayton opened her business on April 8 of this year. Unlimited Seafood provides high-quality fried seafood, homemade dishes and packages that include more than the average — giving customers more bang for their buck. Ms. Hayton has always worked for someone else in the hospitality field and wanted to open her own food service business. Ms. Hayton also owns Unlimited Gold, located next door.
The expansion of Unlimited Seafood is a possibility in the next year. Ms. Hayton has essentially built her space from the ground up, making many enhancements to the space, including new equipment and flooring. The newly-painted walls also add to the restaurant’s Miami feel.
“Our goal is to provide our customers with the best quality seafood, prepared by our friendly staff in a clean facility,” Ms. Hayton said. “We stand by our product and are above the rest. Quality is our key.”
Commissioner Carballada reinforced the City’s continuing commitment to the revitalization and transformation of this area, by adding that “entrepreneurs, such as Ms. Hayton, are critical partners in making the City’s vision to become the best mid-sized City in America, a reality.”
