Rochester Families Read

"The more that you read, the more things  you will know. The more you learn, the more places you will go." -- Dr. Seuss

Free books - an investment in Rochester's future

Reading is special time for children and families. It strengthens the bond, creates lasting memories and fosters a love of learning.

Through Rochester Families Read, Mayor Lovely Warren is working to provide Rochester families with young children an opportunity to create these special moments with free books and special activities to celebrate reading.

Throughtout the year, the City will distribute free, age-appropriate books to families at R-Centers and City Library Branches and will host special events to promote reading time with children.
