(Friday, June 24, 2016) – The popular Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas series will continue at the City of Rochester Public Market, 280 N. Union St., on Sunday, June 26 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Community Garage Sales bring dozens of garage sale-type vendors together in one place, creating a huge variety of bargain collectibles and curiosities.
Individuals interested in selling items at the Market can rent 10 by 30 foot vending spaces for $30 per event. Commercial vendors are also welcome. Vendor information and applications can be obtained at www.cityofrochester.gov/garagesales or by calling the Market at (585) 428-6907 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
New this year, the Market will hold special “Market Road Show Day” during the Community Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 3. Mike Deming of Mike Deming Antiques will be on hand to provide free appraisals of up to two items.
Future Community Garage Sales will take place on the following Sundays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.: July 3, July 10, July 17, July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14, August 21, August 28, September 11, September 25, October 2, October 9 and October 16.
