City of Rochester News Release - City of Rochester Public Market Food Truck Rodeos to Begin on Wednesday, April 26

 

City of Rochester News Release

(Tuesday, April 25, 2017) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren invites the community to the first Food Truck Rodeo of the 2017 season from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26 at the City of Rochester Public Market. Local mobile food vendors will offer creative cuisine and comfort food accompanied by live music by 8 Days a Week, a Beatles cover band.

“Food Truck Rodeos have become an iconic, Rochester tradition,” said Mayor Warren. “Our community food trucks are great examples of our small businesses in action. I invite everyone to come out to support them while enjoying some great food and music. Events at the City of Rochester Public Market enhance our quality of life which creates more jobs, safer, more vibrant neighborhoods and better educational opportunities for our citizens.”

Food Truck Rodeos are held from 5 to 9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month, through September at the Market, 280 N. Union St.

The full Food Truck Rodeo and band line-up is as follows:
April 26: Music by 8 Days a Week
May 31: Music by Teagan and the Tweeds
June 28: Music by Earthtones
July 26: Music by Dan Eaton Band
Aug. 30:  Music by Significant Other
Sept. 27:  Music by Mud Creek

Attendees are encouraged to carpool and bring folding chairs, as seating is very limited on Market grounds.
