City of Rochester

News Release

(Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017) – City of Rochester Commissioner of Neighborhood and Business Development Baye Muhammad joined State Sen. Joe Robach and business owner Carmen Coleman to cut the ribbon for Lifetime Financial Group, LLC to 35 State Street this morning. Lifetime Financial is an insurance brokerage firm specializing in healthcare and services for beneficiaries of both the New York State health exchange and Medicare.

“I would like to thank Carmen for continuing to keep her business in Rochester,” Mayor Lovely Warren said. “By helping our providers and citizens navigate the complex health care system, we are also helping them create jobs, safer and more vibrant neighborhoods and better educational opportunities.”

With the expansion, Lifetime Financial Group will create an additional two jobs, and plans to add another 20 in the coming years.

“We offer no-hassle insurance expertise in both Medicare and Affordable Care so our customers can focus on other important things,” Coleman said. “Our agents are trained and certified, and Lifetime Financial Group, LLC offers a professional environment and professional services.”

Coleman started the business in 2009, first offering financial services and later expanding into the insurance market. The group is relocating from 16 West Main Street, Suite 740. The new facility will accommodate both large and small groups for training sessions, activities and community events.

The new location is located inside the former First National Bank of Rochester-Old Monroe County Savings Bank building. This historic bank building is a historic building on State Street, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
