Special Events at the Market

In 2016 Rochester Public Market will once again offer approximately 50 special event days in addition to regular Market shopping days, affording many opportunities to experience and enjoy the Market even more! These special event series and single events have become community favorites and traditions, including Greatest Community Garage Sales and Super Fleas, Flower City Days horticultural extravaganzas, Food Truck RodeosBands on the Bricks, and Holidays at the Market. Prime your palate for the best free “tastings” experience in the City of Rochester! The 2016 series, again a partnership with the Democrat & Chronicle and Friends of the Rochester Public Market, will celebrate the colorful diversity of the Market and Greater Rochester community.

The Flower City earns bragging rights when the Rochester Public Market comes alive in May and June with row upon row of annuals, perennials, shrubs and garden ornamentation. All available just in time for spring planting.  Bring your garden questions and get answers from the experts.

Food Truck Rodeo
A Celebration of Street Food

Food Truck Rodeo has quickly become a Rochester tradition. Rodeos brings our community's growing, eclectic array of mobile food purveyors together at the Rochester Public Market. Local brew and bands add to the fun.

Extra Extra! In 2016, we'll host NINE Food Truck Rodeos instead of seven--we'll have TWO FTRs in the months of July and August!

Bands on the Bricks

One of Rochester's most popular concert series, Bands on the Bricks proves that the Rochester Public Market isn't just for morning people.

Gospel Jubilee 

Sunday, July 24
4-7 p.m.

Organized by Elim Sanctuary Choir, this event features several inspirational music groups from around the region. Free admission! See the Gospel Jubilee page 

Flour City Brewer's Fest

Celebrate the talents of local brew masters and microbreweries. Food, music and fun are all a part of this must-do summer event.

Artist Row

Festival of Food

Sample the best food and drink in Rochester and the Finger Lakes at Foodlink’s annual Festival of Food. Enjoy over 100 local restaurants, wineries, breweries, bakeries and more. All proceeds benefit Foodlink. Ticket information available at www.foodlinkny.org  

 Holidays at the Market

Holidays at the Market features a festive mix of holiday-oriented vendors with art, crafts, decorations, holiday food delicacies, gifts, stocking stuffers, carriage rides with Santa, and much much more.
