Motorist Advisory - Rochester Lilac Festival Parade to Affect Traffic

(Thursday, May 10, 2018) – Groups will begin staging for the 2018 Rochester Lilac Festival Parade at 8:00 a.m. this Saturday, May 12 along Science Parkway and side streets off South Avenue between Science Parkway and Elmwood Avenue. Traffic along South Avenue will be affected at this time. The Rochester Police Department will close all roads between Elmwood Avenue and East Henrietta Road at 9:15 a.m. including: Booth Street, Warren Street, Rosemount Street and Fort Terrace.

The parade will step off at 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Ave and Science Parkway. The parade will proceed northbound on South Avenue to Highland Avenue, then eastbound on Highland Avenue to S. Goodman Street for disbandment.
