News Release -- Fall Leaf Collection to Resume Monday

City of Rochester

News Release

(Friday, Nov. 22, 2019) – Fall leaf collection will resume next week, weather permitting. Leaf collection was delayed this year because of the early snowfall.

Residents of Northeast Rochester as well as those living in the Lyell-Otis-Avery and Edgerton neighborhoods between Lyell and Lexington avenues are asked to rake loose leaves into a pile between the sidewalk and the curb by 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25. (Week 2 residents designated in green on the City’s loose leaf collection map.)

Once this area is complete, leaf collection will continue in the Maplewood and Charlotte neighborhoods as well as most of Southeast Rochester, including the Beechwood and Culver-Merchants neighborhoods. (Week 3 residents, designated in blue on the map.)

The complete leaf collection schedule and a map of the areas to be collected can be found at: www.cityofrochester.gov/leaves

Leaves may also be bagged for collection on residents’ regular refuse collection days. Loose leaves can also be dropped off at Ferrano and Colfax Streets.

Residents may call 311 for more information.
