News Release - Mayor Warren’s Office of Community Wealth Building to Launch Entrepreneur Resource Partner Enhancement Program

(Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020) – Mayor Lovely A. Warren is inviting city residents and entrepreneurs to attend the virtual launch of the Entrepreneur Resource Partner Enhancement Program, a joint effort organized under Empire State Development’s (ESD) Revitalize Rochester Fund by the Rochester Economic Development Corporation (REDCO) and the Mayor’s Office of Community Wealth Building. The virtual event for public viewing will take place from 10 - 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 at youtube.com/c/CityofRochesterVideos.

“We are dedicated to bringing our partners together to bring state-of-the-art case management services to help small businesses get off the ground and thrive so they can provide jobs for our residents and grow our economy,” said Mayor Warren. “I would like to thank Empire State Development for underwriting this program through the Rochester Revitalization Fund.”

This program makes $1.5 million in grants available to six entrepreneur support organizations and six organizational coaches to provide small businesses with case management support over a 24-month period. The organizations and coaches will help business identify funding and training opportunities, as well as provide them with technical assistance and access to other resources that would enable them to expand their businesses. These organizations, coaches and cohorts will be announced during the virtual event.
