News Release - The International Plaza Events Cancelled Tonight due to Inclement Weather

(Thursday, July 8, 2021) — The International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave., will be closed this evening due to inclement weather. The International Plaza will re-open this Sunday, July 11 from 1-5 PM, with vendors, special programming, group exercise, and live music. 

Join us at the International Plaza this Sunday, July 11 for shopping, food, and activities for everyone. Live dancing and cultural performances from Alma de Mexico and Grupo Cultural Latinos en Rochester is at 1 PM. Zumba with Coach Maribel GetFit and storytelling with crafts for children by Rochester Latino Theater Company will begin at 2 PM, and live Latin band music will start at 3 by Ruíz y los Auténticos.

Market Days at the International Plaza take place 5 to 8 p.m. on most Thursdays and 1 to 5 p.m., Sundays from April through November. Entertainment programming is scheduled in partnership with the Ibero American Action League. July’s entertainment includes: Chorro Rosa Boemia, Capoeria Angola Quintal, Forró Estrelas do Norte, Grupo Calle 1, and Teaching Artist Roc.
