(Monday, Aug. 21, 2023) – Mayor Malik D. Evans invites youth and families to learn more about the new social-emotional health and wellness support services being offered at City R-Centers. The next information session will take place 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 23 at the David F. Gantt R-Center, 700 North St.
Licensed, community-based child and family therapist and social learning specialist are available for free at the following four R-Centers during regular business hours for registered R-Center youth and their families:
- Cauldwell Center for Hope R-Center, 524 Campbell St.
David F. Gantt R-Center, 700 North St.
The Honorable Willie Walker Lightfoot R-Center, 271 Flint St.
Thomas P. Ryan R-Center, 530 Webster Ave.
R-Centers provide a wide variety of programs to keep youth and families engaged in a safe place. During the summer, all 11 City R-Centers are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m., and several are open on Saturday.
