(Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024) – The Department of Recreation and Human Services is hiring seasonal workers for R-Centers and other recreation facilities. An open interview will be held on from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 at the Trenton & Pamela Jackson R-Center on 485 N. Clinton Avenue. Positions are available for recreation, aquatics, and summer camps.

Applications are open to the public, and residency requirements are waived for the summer. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required for all positions, with the exception of lifeguards. Submitting an application does not guarantee employment. Wages start at $15 an hour.
