Land Bank Property For Sale

The Rochester Land Bank Corporation was established in 2013 to purchase or take ownership of tax-delinquent, abandoned, or vacant properties. Its mission is to return underutilized property to productive use, preserve and create quality housing, enhance the quality of life within neighborhoods, and encourage economic opportunities.

Since its inception, the Rochester Land Bank has helped return over 80 properties to the city’s housing stock.

The Land Bank sells homes in their portfolio to prequalified buyers who:

  • Don’t already own tax delinquent or blighted properties in Rochester.
  • Have the resources to do the necessary rehabilitation work to create quality housing.
To qualify to purchase homes through the Land Bank submit this application. The Land Bank will contact you with showing availability once purchaser eligibility has been confirmed.

Rochester Land Bank Corporation does not pay sales commissions or use external purchase and sale contracts.
