The Rochester Police Department is proud to promote its affiliation with the Monroe Crime Analysis Center (MCAC). MCAC assists law enforcement agencies in and around Monroe County by providing analysis and intelligence products which improve law enforcement’s capacity to more effectively prevent and reduce part I crime in the City of Rochester, Monroe County and surrounding areas.
The Monroe Crime Analysis Center is a partnership between the Rochester Police Department, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services, New York State Police, Monroe County Probation, and Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.
The center is housed on the 3rd Floor of the Rochester City Public Safety Building, and includes a staff of data analysts and full-time field intelligence officers.
