New Release - 311 Call Center Operating Under New Hours

(Tuesday, July 16, 2013) – The City 311 Call Center is now open from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Rochester Police Department Public Safety Aides will continue to take calls for non-emergency police matters via 311 on a 24-hour basis.

Those who call 311 after hours will hear the following message and instructions English and Spanish:

“Thank you for calling the City of Rochester 311 Call Center. If this is a police, fire or medical emergency, please hang up and dial 911. If this is a Rochester Police Department non-emergency matter, please press 1. For all other concerns the office is now closed. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.”

The 311 Call Center will continue to be closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

During normal business hours, the 311 Call Center will continue to provide citizens with a way to make ““One Call to City Hall,” offering immediate and convenient assistance with any need related to City services and information.
